    • HOIHA promotes the Association and the Hospitality Industry to those considering a career in the industry through our own one-day management courses and scholarship funds at local institutions.
    • HOIHA supports programs for hospitality training and continued education through various educational institutions.
    • HOIHA provides scholarship assistance through financial grants for members continuing their secondary and post-secondary education in the hospitality industry.
  • To Sustain Community Involvement & Networking
    • Our Association is responsible for judging the participants in the Taste of Peoria.
    • Volunteers from our association provide a booth at the Steamboat Classic Race, furnishing food and beverages to the race paticipants.
    • HOIHA monthly board meetings are open to all members.
    • HOIHA members have multiple opportunities to be involved in the planning of our various annual events.

    • The HOIHA Winterfest - Best in the Midwest Awards Banquet is an annual industry event highlighting the hospitality industry with presentation of awards including; Friend of the Industry, Heart of Illinois Hospitality Employee of the Year, and various other awards.
